The Holborough Shoot is a long-standing established classic English driven pheasant shoot situated in the Medway valley an area of outstanding natural beauty near Maidstone in Kent comprising of four main blocks of woodland on chalk escarpments with farmland lying below.
The shooting estate extends to approximately 1500 acres and of this some 875 acres is woodland. The estate rises from sea level to almost 675 feet above sea level and this itself leads to stunning presentation of birds. There are 15 pheasant drives all situated in woodland valleys with names like Blind Valley, Misery Hill, Ladds Hill, Park Hill and a further 10 x Partridge Drives this choice offers a great deal of scope for our gamekeeper and variety to the standing guns.
The Holborough Shoot is Kents best-kept secret, being only 30 miles from central London, accessed very easily from both the M20 and the M2 and a short distance from the Ebbsfleet international railway station that offers a fast high-speed train service through the Channel Tunnel from mainland Europe. A high bird pheasant shoot in the South of England, with sufficient variety of drives to accommodate both the novice gun and challenge the experienced guns.
