Roe Deer Stalking in the beautiful Scottish Borders!

 

We have some fabulous estates over which you can stalk in the Scottish Borders.

 

Our estates feature all year round deer stalking for Roe deer (please refer to Scottish Doe and Buck seasons).

 

A usual outing Deer Stalking lasts 2-3 hrs (depending on time of year)

We also offer an Introduction to Deer Stalking Course.

 

This course has been especially developed for beginners and is compulsory for novices wishing to deer stalk.

This introductory package is ideal for anyone wishing to learn more about the basic principles of deer stalking and is compulsory when booking a stalking package as a beginner.

 

It includes:

Rifle Craft – tuition on safe rifle handling and safe practice

Technique of shooting Safety and handling deer calibre rifles

Shot placement/grouping on simulated deer targets over varying distances

Stalking technique

Reaction to shot/what happens after the shot

 

All ammunition and equipment provided 1 to 1 instruction.

 

Introduction to Deer Stalking Package @ £195.00 per person

 

The deer stalking itself takes place at one of our picturesque private estates, either at first light or at dusk and is predominantly carried out on foot, with some periods spent in ‘high seats’ or at static points.

 

We want you to have an enjoyable, exciting and memorable outing deer stalking in the beautiful Scottish Borders, so are very happy to accommodate your needs.

 

Our aim is that all deer stalking should be carried out in a safe, relaxed and friendly manner.

 

However we are professional and humane and will strive to stalk deer according to Best Practice Guidelines for Deer Management.

 

Finally, we will do everything we can to ensure that you are successful, however we are proud of the fact that all our deer are wild and free ranging and as such no guarantee can be given as to success.

 

We can also arrange Driven, Mini Driven and Walked Up Game Days on Pheasant, Partridge, Ducks, Woodcock, shotguns, cartridges, warm up lessons, loading, full instruction, accommodation, dining, transfers from and to airports/railways.
