Established in 2024 by two keen shooting and stalking friends, they had a clear objective in mind.
Provide an outstanding venue for an exceptional shooting and hospitality experience in the local area.
We have achieved that goal. The Mowden Hall estate steeped in history, situated in an excellent location in beautiful tranquil countryside. Easily accessible from the A12.
A Victorian barn purposely renovated for Mowden Hall Lodge provides the base for our exquisite hospitality. A modern commercial kitchen and talented chef ensure whatever menu you choose from, our food will not disappoint. The entrance lobby ensures we have plenty of room to welcome you through into our first reception room, where guests can greet and drink coffee, later in the day, using the space to enjoy elevenses.
Our first-class dining experience is enhanced by our custom-built resin table, the centrepiece of our already impressive lodge. Able to seat 20 people, catering for 12-16 shooting guests and 8-4 non-shooting guests respectively.
It’s not all about shooting, that’s just a bonus. We understand quality and provide high-end hospitality in our opulent lodge.
Our passion for providing an exclusive experience keeps us a notch above., ensuring you have an interesting and unforgettable day.
We can cater for special occasions such as Stag and Hen dos, birthdays and anniversaries to name a few. We can also cater for those that do not have a gun of their own. We can provide gun hire on the day, ensuring everyone is safe and has an enjoyable day.

The Estate
Mowden Hall Estate is surrounded by ancient woodland sprawled amongst arable fields and meadows. Boarded by the River Tey and River Chelmer, providing beautiful meadow views framed by majestic Willow trees.
