We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our traditional Suffolk farm shoot, set in beautiful countryside just outside Newmarket, in the stunning village of Wickhambrook.
Our shoot offers classic pheasant and partridge sport over well-established cover crops and woodland. This is a true traditional farm shoot, providing a varied day’s sport with something to suit everyone — from seasoned shots to those newer to the field.
You can expect a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with plenty of laughs , ensuring all our guns and guests enjoy a memorable day. Our purpose-built gun bus adds comfort and convenience, helping the day run smoothly from start to finish.
The Day’s Schedule
Guns will meet at the farm at 08:45am for a warm welcome, with fresh tea and coffee served on arrival.
We aim to shoot two drives before stopping for elevenses, enjoyed in the field or back at the farm should the weather require it.
Partners and non-shooting guests are very welcome, as are well-behaved dogs. Please let us know on the day if you wish to pick up behind your peg.
09:00 – Guns gather in the gun room for the safety briefing and peg draw
09:15 – Guns depart in the gun trailer for the first drive
After the first 2 drives elevenses will be served, including champagne, sloe gin, soft drinks, sausage rolls, soup and a selection of other tasty snacks.
Once refreshed, we’ll head out to complete the remaining drives.
At the end of the day, guns will return to the farm to enjoy tea, coffee and a slice of cake while the bag is tallied and numbers announced. Game will then be shared among the guns before we conclude what promises to be a nice day.
