We offer self catering accommodation for shooting parties and their dogs in our 300 year old Georgian farmhouse. The farmhouse is very comfortable and well presented with log burning fires, an Aga and comfortable lounges to relax after a good day’s shooting. It sleeps 14 in 5 bedrooms. Also on the site there is: Bramble Cottage, an open plan studio which offers cosy, dog friendly self-catering accommodation for 4 people, with a kingsize bed and 2 bunk beds; and The Lodge, which is a large open plan building which sleeps 4 in 2 double beds, but can sleep additional 2-4 if sofa beds are used. The owners have dogs themselves, and guests’ dogs are always very welcome. There is a large walled garden with a 3 acre paddock which is ideal for dogs. The owner is an RFD (Registered Firearms Dealer) and can possibly provide cartridges by prior arrangement. A gun cabinet is available for guests’ guns. We are situated close to the New Forest in the village of Whiteparish, within the heart of some of the best shooting and hunting grounds in the South West. The area is well serviced with supermarkets, a farm shop and good dog-friendly pubs and quality restaurants. The property is a short distance from the main road with ample private, off-road parking.
