A fine .451 percussion match rifle in the 19th century style. There is no makers name on the barrel, however the gun is built round an original 19th century Westley Richards detented and bolted lock. It comes with a bullet sizer and the front sight has a total of 8 elements. The high quality rear sight is unmarked but is undoubtedly one of the late Rex Holbrook’s Goodwin style sights. The stock is finely checkered walnut with a black fore end cap. It is contained in a well made fitted oak case. I have not used it. The underside of the barrel is marked .451 95grains black powder 560 grain bullet with uk proof marks and s/no 8765.
