Scottish Borders Sporting is located in the most beautiful part of the Scottish Borders, on the edge of the Lammermuir Hills, just 30 minutes south of Edinburgh. We have over 1,500 acres of the most breathtaking topography for all types of game days! The stunning diverse terrain allows for the presentation of some fantastic game drives.
The land ranges from bracken covered banking’s and gullies, high woodlands, ponds and valley’s, making presentation of the birds pretty spectacular!.
We offer mixed bag days of Driven, Mini Driven, Walked Up and Duck Flighting. We also offer Gun Dog Training shoot over days and out of season, the ground is for hire to groups for Gundog training days.

Land & topography
The farm known as Hillhouse is pretty accurate! The terrain, although steep, is easily accessed by hard standing tracks. Huge banking’s, steep gullies and woodland are just a couple of the features. We also have 14 ponds, burns, a ruin of a fort with views to the purple heather covered grouse moors of the Lammermuir Hills.

Stuart is ex Army and the Gamekeeper on 3 shoots in the Borders. Tracy is full time shooting coach and runs the Roxburghe Shooting School in Kelso. She arranges the shoot days, picking up team, is Shoot Captain and Host to her Guns. Together, they make a formidable and highly efficient team that makes your whole day run smoothly and enjoyably.
Out of season, Scottish Borders Sporting runs Simulated Game Days on the Estate and Gun dog Training days and training ground hire.
