Strenneth is a well established, family run guest house set in unspoiled countryside in Fersfield which is on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, ten minutes drive from the picturesque market town of Diss and Botesdale , only five minutes from the world-renowned Bressingham Gardens and Steam Museum. With the famous “Banham Zoo” just around the corner and Snetterton Motor Racing Circuit only 5 miles away. Local fishing is excellent. Strenneth’s central location makes it an ideal touring base for East Anglia.
Offering first class accommodation, the 17th Century building has a wealth of exposed oak beams, fully renovated with 4 bedrooms in a newer single storey courtyard wing and a 2/4 bed economy cottage. The seven bedrooms, including a Mahogany Four Poster bed are individually decorated with central heating, comfortable beds and armchairs. All have remote colour television and a CD player, a hospitality tray and full en-suite facilities, some with showers, others with baths (tubs). We have an extensive breakfast menu using local produce wherever possible. There are also 2 detached fully furnished and serviced holiday cottages for the longer staying visitor.
There is ample off road secure parking. Pets are most welcome and can be exercised on either the nearby disused airfield or other nice walks nearby. Outside kennels with runs are available if required.
