Situated in the heart of the Norfolk broads, 15 miles from both Norwich and Great Yarmouth and 2 miles from the coast, this fully drivenshoot has been successfully established over 42 years offering mixed days to full teams and individual guns.
The days are hosted by Graham Grapes, a local gamefarmer, along with his keeper Daniel Tyrrell and loyal beating and picking up team.
The shoot offers 125 bird days with the bag containing predominately pheasant and partridge
The day begin at 8.15 at Sutton Staithe Hotel with bacon rolls and hot drinks on arrival. After meeting your host and receiving a short safety brief, the first drive commences following a short journey in the gunbus.
Full hospitality includes drinks plus homemade mince pies/sausage rolls mid morning, a light lunch out in the field, followed by a delicious two course meal back at the Hotel.
Although the shoot provides its own picking up team, guns are most welcome to also bring their dogs along too.
The shoot prides itself in providing good value for money shooting, along with a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. As a result several guns return year after year!
The cost for the day is £575 per peg, or £5750 for the day.
There is no charge for overages.
